Weld Windshield Frame

Well, my foot pedal arrived, so I spent the past week practicing TIG welding. I welded up
some samples and took them to our EAA Chapter president and vice president for inspection. They both told me that my welds weren't exactly perfect, but they would definitely hold.
That's all I needed! So, I went ahead and finish welded my windshield frame. Let me be
the first to acknowledge that my welds are definitely not pretty. I can also say that welding small pieces on a flat work table is quite different from welding large, awkward frame pieces. It's hard to get into a comfortable position, and that definitely affects the resulting weld. Nevertheless, it's done, and now it's off to the powder coater.

Just so you can see what I'm talking about, these are probably the "prettiest" welds on the whole piece. Still, I'm confident that they will hold, and "prettiness" will come with practice.
