Instrument Panel Frame

Here is the instrument panel frame. There are a couple of things to point out here. First, I lowered the bottom by about 2 inches. The main reason is so that I can have more room in the center for a radio stack. I don't have my avionics picked out yet, but I figured 8 inches seemed adequate for an audio panel, a GPS, a single NAV/COMM, and a transponder. Also, a nice EFIS (like the Dynon D180) is about 5 x 8 inches, and it won't fit in the stock panel. Next, there are supposed to be a couple more vertical supports, but until I decide which instruments to install, I didn't want them to get in the way, so I will wait until later to install them.

Total Time: 4.5 hrs.
