Brake Pedals

These were a little bit more troublesome than I expected. The pedals are made from .080 2024-T3 aluminum (the same as specified on the plans). I tried bending them at 90 degrees to form the "ears" that will allow them to be mounted to the rudder pedals and also to actuate the brake cylinders, but instead of bending, they broke off! So, I had to make the "ears" separately and use some aluminum angle and rivet them together. I called my EAA Chapter Vice-President and got to use his pneumatic rivet squeezer! (Thanks, Terry!)
